There was a good entry of 131 females for the in lamb sale at
However two of the vendors were ill and unable to attend together with some other sheep not
forward resulting in an actual sales number of 99 sheep.
These sold extremely well with 94 sold on the day.

Leading the prices in the senior ewe section was a ewe from J. Thorburn which
sold for 400gn to J. Pirie of Kingussie.
Mr. Pirie also bought 2 more ewes , 1 shearling and 6 ewe lambs to also travel
north to Kingussie.
K & C Titterton were leading buyers taking 21 lots, 1 ewe, 10 shearlings and
10 ewe lambs to go south to Stoke on
The top priced lamb was the class winner from J.Thorburn which sold for
450gn. to C & D Cromie of Ballynahinch.
The best prices realised in the sale were all for shearlings :-

33 Ewe Lambs £181.36
In conclusion it was a well attended sale and sheep presented in good condition realised the best prices.
