The Northern Branch held a very well attended meeting at Westmorland show ground on 25th March. This being the first meeting for some time everyone was keen to have some events up and running after a discussion of what those members present would like the following events will take place.

Events for 2012
May 2012 – Show preparation anyone interested in learning how to prepare their sheep for shows are asked to contact the above we are hoping to group those members together according to the areas they live in and link them to another member who currently shows and would be willing to share their skills.
Saturday and Sunday October 6th and 7th Flock Competition open to all Northern members four classes each for large and small flocks depending on interest and uptake. Schedules and entry forms nearer the time to those who have requested from the above.
Friday November 9th- Meeting at Westmorland show ground with evening meal Presentation to flock competition winners followed by a talk by local vets and an open question and answer session on any health matters and plans for 2013.
