Zwartbles Premier Sale Sees Top of 2200gns
A bid of 2200gns secured the top price of the day at the recent sale held at Harrison and Hetherington Carlisle Pistyll Firecracker from G A & H M Francis a shearling out of Pistyll Charmer and a homebred ewe sold in a half share to A Baird & M Mclaren Dunblane and D Miskelly Alford.

Others followed at 1800gns again from the Francis family Pistyll Flash another by Charmer and out of a homebred ewe sold over the water to Northern Ireland to A & R Megarell Cullion and two at 1200gns for Bessiebell Fantastic out of Donbraid Ed and Bessiebell Alex again sold by the Francis family to Odgers & Braithwaite Roughlee and Donbraid Finn from C & K Milburn the male and reserve supreme champion bred by Ulster Cad out of a Donbraid Ewe sold to Cakermuir Equestrian Kelso.

Ram lambs continued a strong trade selling to a top of 1800gns for Stainmore Gladiator from L & F Brown to Messes Booth Lothersdale Gladiator is out of Wallacetown Ego and a homebred ewe then at 1200gns R Hurd from Wiveliscombe secured Pistyll Grand slam this time out of Didcot Freddie and a homebred ewe and three ram lambs sold to 1000gns as follows Hayberries Guantanomo from P & S Addison he’s out of Beech Hay Chancellor and Broomfield Beauty and sold to Messes Watson Ballymena, Top Notch Giant from H Sloan bred from Pistyll Calvin Klein out of a homebred ewe selling to Messes Crossen Shrewsbury and finally Mischief G-Force from C & C Cormack bred by Stainmore Freshprince and Harle Ellen sold to Messes Owen Conwy.

Females topped at 2000gns for a shearling from J & N Millar Joyfield Flawless out of Milburn Sam and a Cynefin ewe sold to F Wilkie Skene next 1500gns secured Greystone Fauna from M McLaren & A Baird she’s out of a dutch import and hombred ewe and sold to P & S Addison Barnard Castle and 1200gns for Killymallaght Fancy is out of Killymallaght Danny B and a home bred ewe and went home to A Bateman Kendal. Ewe Lambs sold very well with a top of 1100gns Cynefin Glain from O Hughes Owen is out of Cynefin Arthur and a homebred ewe and sold to M Simpson Kilmarnock next was 850gns for a Bessiebell lamb from S Smyth out of Didcot Dolomite and a homebred ewe sold to H Sloan Collin and 800gns for Greystone Gorse from M McLaren and A Baird and bred by Tardoes Sunny and another homebred ewe she sold to L Crum Kilmarnock.
