Our branch is planning to hold a beginners trimming session kindly hosted by Tom and Gillian Blamire, Whinnow Zwartbles at Mid Whinnow Farm, Thursby, Carlisle CA5 6QL. This will be a chance to learn some trimming tips and see some trimming in action in small groups and to have a go yourselves. Because of this places are limited to 15 on a first come first served basis. Other members who are not novices at trimming are welcome to attend (attendees please note there will be no other events or sheep to view on this day). The event will be held on Sunday 14th May 1 pm to 4 pm finishing with tea/coffee and cake. Please bring with you any shears you may have to help you. There will be no charge for this event but a raffle will be held to boost funds anyone who would like to bring a prize along to donate is more than welcome.
