McCONKEY Eric Retired, much respected West Mercia Police Officer and Marden village Postman. Passed away peacefully at St Michael’s Hospice on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017, aged 70 years. Loving husband of Molly, father of Caroline, grandfather of Ryan and father in law of Paul. The Funeral Service will take place at Hereford Crematorium at 12 midday on Monday, August 7th. Medals may be worn. Family flowers only, but donations, if desired please to St Michael’s Hospice. Eric along with his wife Molly was one of the early members of the ZSA, flock number 61 and their Barmoll prefix is known by many breeders.
Eric was a past Council member and served for several years during the early days of the association. He was always happy chatting to his friends from all over the country at sales and shows and will be fondly remembered by many.
